त्रिपुरा रहस्य ज्ञान खंड
द्वितीय अध्याय
एवं जना हितेच्छाभिः कर्तव्यविषमूर्च्छिताः।
अहो विनाशं यान्त्युच्चैर्मोहेनांधिकृताः खलु।।
आप ने त्रिपुरा रहस्य प्रथम अध्याय में परशुराम जी और भगवान दत्तात्रेय जी के संवाद को पढ़ा होगा और अब हम द्वितीय अध्याय में दत्तात्रेय जी द्वारा कथानक रूप में समझाये गये रहस्यों को समझने का प्रयास करेंगे।
कुछ यात्री विन्ध्याचल पर्वत पर जा पहुँचे। वे भूख से अत्यन्त व्याकुल थे। वहां वे फल खोजने लगे ,और काजू के फल समझकर कुचला के फल खा गये। अत्यन्त भूखे होने कारण उनकी रसनेन्द्रिय शक्तिहीन हो गयी थी। अब कुचला के विष की ज्वाला उनके अंग-अंग में जलन होने लगी। उससे उन्हें बड़ी बेचैनी हुई। उन्हें यह तो पता नहीं था की हमने कुचला के फल खा लिये हैं ,अतः अपने शरीर में उस ज्वाला को काजू खाने का ही परिणाम समझकर वे अंधे से होकर उसकी शान्ति के लिये खोज करने लगे तो उन्हें धतूरे के फल मिल गये। भ्रमवश उन सबने उन्हें नीबू समझकर खा लिया। इससे वे और भी पागल हो गये और अपने मार्ग से भटक कर उस घोर जंगल में गड्ढ़ों में गिरने-पड़ने लगे। उनके सारे शरीर में काँटे लग गये ,हाथ-पैर और घुटने घायल हो गये तथा वे दूसरे को बुरा-भला कहकर आपस में बड़ा कलह करने लगे। देखते ही देखते वे एक दूसरे पर घूसे ,पत्थर और लकड़ियाँ चलाने लगे। इससे उनके सब अंग क्षत -विक्षत हो गये। अंत में वे किसी नगर के पास जा पहुंचे। दैववश वे आधी रात के समय नगर के द्वार पर पहुँचे। उस समय द्वारपाल ने उन्हें नगर में प्रवेश करने से रोका। उन्हें तो किसी देश-काल का ज्ञान तो था नहीं ,इसलिए वे उनके साथ भी झगड़ा करने लगे। अब तो द्वारपालों ने भी उनको खूब पीटा। तब वे इधर-उधर भागने लगे। उनमें से कुछ तो नगर की खाई में गिर गये और वहाँ मकर आदि जल जन्तुओ ने उन्हें खा लिया। कुछ ने गड्ढ़ों और कुओं में गिर कर प्राण त्याग दिये और कोई उनसे मार खाकर किसी प्रकार अपनी बचाकर भाग गये।
अविचार से अकर्त्तव्य को ही कर्त्तव्य समझकर लोग सब प्रकार से मोह में पड़ जाते है और विचारपूर्वक कर्म करने पर वे सब प्रकार के अपार संकटो से भी छुटकारा पा लेते हैं।
Some travelers reached Mount Vindhyachal. He was very distraught with hunger. There they started searching for fruits, and considering the fruits of cashew, they ate the fruits of the crushed. Due to being very hungry, his sensory sense was powerless. Now the flame of poison of poison started burning in his limbs. This caused him great discomfort. They did not know that we had eaten the fruits of the crushed.Therefore, considering that flame in his body as the result of eating cashew nut, when he went blindly and searched for his peace, he found the fruits of the metal. Confusing them, they all ate them as lemon. Due to this, they became even more mad and wandered off their path and started falling into the pits in that thick forest.All their bodies were thorns, hands and feet and knees were injured, and they started making great discord among themselves, calling each other bad. As soon as they saw each other, they started to punch, stone and fire at each other. All their parts were damaged due to this. Finally, they reached a city. Divinely they reached the city gate at midnight. At that time the gatekeeper prevented them from entering the city.They had no knowledge of any country and era, so they started quarreling with them. Now even the gatekeepers beat him a lot. Then they started running around. Some of them fell into the abyss of the city and there were animals like Makar etc. Some fell into pits and wells and gave up their lives, and some escaped after escaping from them somehow.
By thinking of Akartavya as duty due to inadvertence, people fall into all kinds of fascination and by doing thoughtful deeds, they also get rid of all kinds of immense troubles.
